We consist of the following three hotels:

According to Danish law, we must register all guests staying at our hotels. This information is automatically deleted after 2 years.
For Danish citizens:
In accordance with the Danish Passport Order, Danish guests are required to register with their full name, date of birth, and place of residence. The hotel requires photo documentation for identity verification.
The rules for registering Danish guests can be found in Section 31 of Executive Order No. 2693 of 28/12/2021.
Bornholm Hotels uses an electronic protocol for this purpose.
Therefore, if you are a Danish citizen, we require the following:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Permanent address
Danish citizens must present photo ID upon check-in. It does not have to be a passport; a driver's license is also acceptable.
For foreign citizens:
According to Executive Order No. 1206 of August 23, 2022, regarding the entry of foreigners into Denmark (the Aliens Order), Section 36 stipulates that hotel operators, in compliance with the rules of the Data Protection Act, must keep a register of all foreign guests arriving at the hotel.
Therefore, if you are a foreign citizen, we require the following:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Permanent address
- Date of arrival
- Date of departure (must be registered at checkout)
- Type and number of passport or other travel identification
However, please note that Nordic citizens from a Nordic country other than Denmark are exempt from the requirement to carry a passport or other travel documentation while staying in Denmark and when departing to another Nordic country. Nordic citizens may identify themselves by presenting other personal documents, such as a driver's license or health insurance card.
The registration of the aforementioned information requires that the foreign guest personally confirm the accuracy of the information by signing a form or similar document. The hotel must also confirm the accuracy of the information by signature or company stamp.
